Jensen Ly
Jensen has almost 15 years of experience as player. He has won numerous titles in junior and senior tournaments. He competed for Kwantlen Polytechnic University. During that time, he was the Canadian College Athletic Association Mixed Doubles National Champion. Jensen has also competed in international tournaments down in the United States and is a multiple title holder in the doubles events at the Washington and Honolulu Open.
He's got incredible patience when coaching younger kids and teenagers. While adults love him for his communication skills.

Jensen Ong
Coach Ong is a highly experienced badminton coach with over 25 years of expertise, having trained in China, Denmark, and Canada. He focuses on a holistic approach, blending world-class techniques, mental readiness, and physical preparation. His coaching emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and strategic thinking, preparing players to excel both on and off the court.
Training Background:
- Trained in China (1989) under Mr. Cheung, coach of two-time World Champion Yang Yang.
- Trained in Denmark (1990) at Hvidovre and Højbjerg Badminton Klub in Copenhagen.
- Developed coaching skills at the Toronto High Performance Training Centre (1990-1994) under Canadian National Coach John Gilbert.

- 1992 Junior Athlete of the Year at Riverdale Collegiate Institute.
- 1993 Canadian National Bronze Medalist.
- 1994 Senior Athlete of the Year at Riverdale Collegiate Institute.

Morgan van Heukelom
With over 20 years of passionate coaching experience, I'm dedicated to this journey for the long haul.
Coming from a competitive background, I center my coaching on students' needs, emphasizing meticulous planning, boundless patience, and unwavering hard work for excellence.
My true satisfaction is in witnessing students achieve their goals. I've even coached my own adult children to success at the national junior level, demonstrating the effectiveness of my methods.

Ted Chen
Coach Ted has experience working with recreational adult players through his previous role as the assistant coach. One of his many notable achievements was his participation in the 2016's Yonex Canada Open.
Our advanced students love his coaching for game strategy, and beginners love him for his ability to make training fun and lively. Coach Ted specializes with developing foundational skills and has also worked with the badminton team at Crofton House.

Ken Fung

Constant refining of his skills, and the satisfaction of standing on the podium because of his hard work and sweat is what he loves most about training.
With over 10 years of coaching experience, his specialty lies in teaching the correct foundations, movement, and mindset. He believes that these are three important factors to avoiding injuries and greatly expanding your full potential.

Victor Peng
Meet Coach Victor, a kind and humble badminton expert with extensive knowledge and over 20 years of coaching experience. He began his training in China at just 9 years old and later played professionally with Team China Jiang Xi.
With almost a decade of coaching in Toronto and another in China, Coach Victor is the mentor who can elevate your game to new heights. His impressive achievements reflect his commitment to excellence and his ability to guide players toward success. Join Coach Victor on a journey to reach your full badminton potential.
Coach Victor was trained in team Ontario by coach Dominic Soong (the first doubles player in Malaysia national team. World Thomas Cup silver medal winner).

Cancellation Policies
Time is important to everyone and as a courtesy to all our coaches, please call us as soon as you know that you will be unable to come to your lesson(s).
If you are unable to keep a scheduled private lesson or group lesson, please give us 48 hours advance notice to ensure that you will not be charged for the class or to receive your group lesson credit.
*For group lessons, students are entitled to 1 credit for absence.*
